To ensure sustainable green transportation and to rapidly expand digital services in rural areas, Robi Axiata PLC has launched the eco-friendly ‘Robi Super Bike’. From now on, Robi field officers at police stations and union levels across the country will use this e-bike.
This electric e-bike will play an important role in protecting the environment by reducing the carbon emissions of fossil fuel-powered motorcycles. This initiative is part of achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Shihab Ahmad, Chief Commercial Officer, Robi Axiata PLC, said, “Robi Super Bike is an important step in our journey to ensure sustainable mobility and strengthen service delivery in the rural areas of the country.”
The Robi Super Bike has a convertible cargo box for field workers, a USB port with mobile charging facilities, and an audio hand mic to raise public awareness. It has also been added with advanced features such as a face recognition bike unlock system and real-time tracking to enhance security and monitoring of activities.
