I really like the easy immigration system here. I completed immigration very easily. Then I took the metro to the hostel near Mustafa Center in Little India. This was my first time staying in a hostel. I got to know people from many countries here. I listened to their stories. Then I went out on foot to see the city of Singapore at night. The hotel rent for staying in Singapore is also very high. So, I chose the hostel.

The Little India area can be your best choice for budget travelers. For single travelers, you can find hostels in this Little India area at a much lower budget. You have to book your accommodation in advance. This has to be confirmed at the immigration system.

Singapore. Full of modern architectural styles and unique beauty. It is the most luxurious country in South Asia.

I bought an MRT pass for 10 Singaporean dollars. With which I traveled all over Singapore by riding buses and metro. The public transportation system here is very advanced and time-saving. Singapore is a bit expensive in all aspects, so taxi fares are very high in terms of transportation.

The price of mobile SIM cards or internet packages in Singapore is very high. Since I am a solo traveler, I did not buy a SIM card. I used the hostel’s WiFi. If the SIM card is $ 12, then the minimum internet package costs $ 30 to $ 35.

I went to Mohammadi Restaurant and several other Bangladeshi restaurants for food. I tried all the delicious food. Especially all the food here was amazing. It costs 4 to 6 Singapore dollars to eat a meal.

Singapore has a 3-plug charging system. So, I had to buy a mobile phone charger adapter. I also visited Mustafa Center, a famous area for Bangladeshis in Singapore. I talked to many Bangladeshis at Mustafa Center.

In Singapore, there are 3 types of trash bins at some distance. Here, if you feed birds or throw garbage on the road or smoke cigarettes outside the designated place, you will be fined. These rules have helped keep the city clean.

In Singapore, the law on littering cannot be ignored in any way. Spitting or throwing garbage anywhere is a crime here. So, the punishment for littering is to attend a seminar on environmental awareness for a day. And you will have to take the responsibility of sweeping a specific area for a whole day.

In Singapore, large cameras are installed everywhere. The police there can track your entire movement. I think if someone commits a crime there, they can be caught in 30 minutes.

I also visited Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Where many big political leaders, bureaucrats and businessmen from Bangladesh come for treatment. It is one of the most famous hospitals in Singapore.

I went to the Merlion, one of the attractions of Singapore, by metro. At night, an eye-catching laser show starts around Marina Bay.

I visited the famous brand stores on Orchard Road. I did some shopping. This posh area is still etched in my memory.

Orchard Road is a road about 2.2 km long. There are many iconic shopping malls on this road. For example, Orchard Central, ION Orchard Mall, Paragon Shopping Center, Plaza Singapore. These malls are also very beautiful to look at. You should go to Orchard Road at least once to see it. I have visited all the malls on foot. I also saw the Rolex watch showroom.

You can get off at Orchard MRT station and go to ION Orchard Mall. It is a 56-storey building. All the world’s famous brands are available here. It is an iconic shopping destination in Singapore.

After spending two days in Singapore, I took a bus to Johor Bahru via Woodland Checkpoint and left for Malaysia. Here too, the immigration system is simple and fast. I left Singapore for Malaysia in 30 seconds using eGate.

Let me tell you that no stamp is given in the passport in Singapore. Singapore is one of the cleanest cities in the world. Singapore does not have any natural resources. However, it is one of the richest countries in the world.

Traveling to Singapore was an extraordinary and memorable experience for me. In this video, I shared some moments of my trip with you. I hope you like it. Thank you! My Malaysia travel story is coming in the next episode.
