Deshbandhu Food and Beverage Limited has embarked on a major expansion plan to increase the dominance of Bangladeshi products in Malaysia, an emerging market in Southeast Asia, and to further accelerate its business activities. Deshbandhu Group Chairman Golam Mostafa is currently visiting Malaysia to implement this goal.
Deshbandhu Food and Beverage Limited, a subsidiary of Deshbandhu Group, one of the largest industrial conglomerates in Bangladesh, has taken the initiative to further strengthen its position in the Malaysian market. Currently, the company is exporting about 10 containers of various types of beverages and food products to Malaysia every month. Considering the growing demand among local and expatriate Bangladeshis, there are plans to further increase this export volume.
During the visit, Chairman Golam Mostafa visited various wholesale and retail markets in Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur. He visited the outlets of Deshbandhu products and inquired about the needs of customers. Along with the visit, he held several meetings with local business partners, including Mohammad Shamsu and Kausar Ahmed, the main importers of Deshbandhu products in Malaysia.
The meetings emphasized modern marketing strategies, digital marketing and increasing the presence of products in superstores. Chairman Golam Mostafa said, “The main goal is to maintain the quality of our products in the Malaysian market. We are working to bring new and diverse products to the market, not only for expatriates, but also according to the tastes of local Malaysian consumers.”
Experts believe that such an active initiative of this large industrial company will further strengthen the brand image of Bangladeshi products in the Malaysian market. This will not only contribute to the business success of Deshbandhu Group, but also to increasing Bangladesh’s export income and earning foreign exchange. The concerned businessmen expressed hope that Deshbandhu Group will be able to create a permanent and strong position in this market in the future by maintaining quality standards to survive in global competition.
