The third annual sports competition and family reunion of the ‘Fakir Group Oikya Parishad-2026’ was held in a festive atmosphere at the traditional Baramath premises of Bongram in Gopalganj Sadar Upazila. The day-long event, which started at 9 am on Saturday (May 30), filled the entire premises with vitality due to the spontaneous participation of the young and old of the group.
Various sports competitions, cultural performances, reminiscences and discussion meetings were held for children, teenagers and adults in this day-long event. The invited guests at the event, Haji Abdus Salam Mollah, Advocate Farhad Mollah and Muhammad Al Amin Fakir, highly appreciated this exceptional initiative.
The speakers said that such an event will play a role in strengthening family bonds and introducing the new generation to family traditions. Finally, the festival ended with the distribution of attractive prizes.
