Popular search engine Google has paid tribute to Bangladesh by creating a special ‘doodle’ on the occasion of its 56th Independence and National Day. This aesthetic doodle of the flying national flag of Bangladesh is being displayed on Google’s homepage on Thursday (March 26). By clicking on it, users are being greeted with ‘Independence Day 2026’.
President Md. Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid their deepest respects to the brave martyrs at the National Memorial in Savar this morning. They remembered the children of the sun of independence by placing wreaths at the altar of the memorial at 6 am.
