The district-level final competition of ‘Natun Kuri Sports-2026’ was concluded in Bagerhat in a festive atmosphere. The Chitalmari Upazila team won the title in the exciting final of the boys’ division held at the Bagerhat District Stadium on Monday afternoon.
The special attraction of this closing ceremony organized under the overall supervision of the Deputy Commissioner was prominent sports enthusiast and Bagerhat District BNP Coordinator MA Salam. He was present as the chief guest and handed over the champion trophy and medals to the winners.
After the award ceremony, MA Salam said, “This talent search program of the Trinamool will create our future star players. Sports can keep the youth away from drugs and bad culture.” Senior officials of the district administration, local sports organizers and a large number of spectators were present at the closing ceremony.
