A new deep tube well of Dhaka WASA has been successfully inaugurated in the area adjacent to Ershad Field in Karail, Jamaibazar, in the capital. The inauguration ceremony held on Thursday (June 11) was presided over by Dhaka WASA Managing Director (MD) Md. Aminul Islam. Under his direct guidance and skilled leadership, Dhaka WASA is working tirelessly to deliver potable water to the doorsteps of the city residents. 2,400 liters of water will be pumped out from this newly installed tube well every minute, which is a major milestone in alleviating the water crisis in the local area.
The Prime Minister’s Private Secretary Abdur Rahman Sunny was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. Speaking as the president of the ceremony, Dhaka WASA Managing Director Md. Aminul Islam said that Dhaka WASA is committed to ensuring uninterrupted and safe water supply across the capital. The installation of this deep tube well in a populated area like Karail will improve the quality of life of local residents. WASA is working to solve water problems in all areas in phases.
Among others, Project Director and WASA Supervising Engineer Abdul Majid, Supervising Engineer (Mods Circle-1) Md. Firoz Alam and Supervising Engineer (Mods Circle-2) Md. Shah Alam and senior officials of Dhaka WASA were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
